Staff photograph a supplier invoice and send it on WhatsApp or Telegram. Tidal reads every line, checks the arithmetic, catches repeats, and once a person approves, puts it into your ERP’s payables.
Sold on its own. Works with the ERP you already run.
The short answer: Invoice Capture replaces typing supplier invoices into your ERP. An invoice arrives as a photo or PDF, Tidal reads the supplier, invoice number, date and every line, checks that the lines and totals add up and that the invoice has not been entered before, and shows it beside the original for one approval. The approved invoice lands in your ERP’s payables.
Today supplier invoices arrive as paper, photos and PDFs. Someone keys each one into the ERP: supplier, invoice number, every line, VAT and totals. It is slow, typing errors slip through, and the same invoice can be entered twice.
Screenshots are from the live system at our Trinidad customer. Supplier names and prices are blurred.
Staff photograph the invoice and send it to your company’s WhatsApp or Telegram number. A long invoice can be several photos: they are put in order and joined into one document.
A PDF or a browser upload works too.
Supplier, invoice number and date, and each item with quantity, unit, pack size, unit price and VAT, plus the totals and currency.
The invoice image sits beside what was read. A person corrects anything that needs it and approves. Nothing posts without that approval.
The approved invoice lands in your ERP’s payables, and its stock receipt if you want it, with your supplier, item and tax codes. It goes through your ERP’s API or an import file in its own layout.
These run on every invoice before anyone opens it, so the reviewer only looks at what needs a decision.
| Check | What it catches |
|---|---|
| Line arithmetic | Quantity times unit price that does not match the line total |
| Totals | Lines, VAT and grand total that do not match what is printed on the invoice |
| Repeat invoice | The same supplier invoice sent or entered twice |
| Credit notes | A credit note read as a credit, not as a new bill |
| Worked out figures | Any value the AI calculated rather than read, marked for a person to confirm |
Your team keeps working in the ERP it knows. Tidal does the work that comes before it.
